Dear Mr Davis,
The Shoalhaven Bushwalkers Inc. (SBW) committee (the committee) resolved unanimously at its 15th April committee meeting to cancel your membership of SBW under Rule 6 (a) of the SBW constitution, having judged your conduct prejudicial to the interests of the Club, as per the attached Decision and Reason Document
Rule 6 (b) (ii) provides you one opportunity to present an explanation to the committee within one month of the date of this email (unless extended by arrangement), that is by the 15th May 2025. Should you not elect to provide the committee an explanation within the timeframe required by Rule 6(b) (ii), your membership will automatically be cancelled at that time.
If you wish to present an explanation to the committee in person rather than in writing, you should contact me in sufficient time for mutually acceptable arrangements to be made to convene the committee.
For the time being, the contents of the attached Decision and Reasons will be considered by the committee to be ‘Private and Confidential’ and will not be published as part of the minutes of the 15th April committee meeting or elsewhere unless you give the committee written permission for their publication or unless you release their contents yourself independently.
