Hi SBW committee,

The constitution in Rule 24. Delegation by committee to Sub-committee (a) says "A Sub-committee shall deal with matters of a special nature and shall be confined to the terms under which the Sub-committee is established."

As demonstrated in the complaint against John Kubale, Greg Smith and Andy Winfield for exceeding the terms under which the Sub-committee was established, the safety sub-committee exceeded their brief in producing a huge volume of safety documents and violated the constitution as a result. This was documented in the minutes of the October 2023 committee meeting.

At that meeting, the entire committee should never have accepted the documents that were produced in violation of the constitution. It would appear that the entire committee was either unaware of Rule 24 (a) of the SBW constitution, or they misunderstood it, or they deliberately ignored it.

The committee members present on the night - and the objects of this complaint are John Kubale, Kynie Evison, Rick O’Shea, Andy Winfield, Greg Smith, Sue Feary, John Souter, Marg O’Shea, Peter Walsh, Ines gale, Clare Lord, Jennifer Himmelreich and Albert Forgan.
